WTF happened to this channel? There was no update, they just stopped posting....

Im sure im in the minority but i think vauthry was my favorite villain due mainly because his voice actor was so good had me fully immersed into the game during that whole arc, havent finished endwalker yet but so far its between vauthry and hermes best voice actors for me

God, it's nice to hear someone who finally agrees with me about Zenos. I've always hated him and never understood why everyone loves him so much. Easily my least favorite FF villain.

You know what Stormblood is: A LOT of boring fetchquests with some great story intermissions. Endwalker luckily is the opposite: A LOT of story and almost no boring fetch quests.

I’m the oddball, I really like the Stormblood MSQ. It is highly underrated.

The part about his "weaknesses" made me a sad. I hope he gets over his fear of flying. It sounds like he's been given some had information. It's not a "mystery" how planes stay up in the air. Also, him needing glasses but not wanting to wear them because they don't "suit him." Or wearing sunglasses to hide his eyes. And being ashamed of crying at a movie. Worrying that because he looks "sinister" he is disturbing others with his emotions. Toxic masculinity claims another victim -- although, at least he is brave enough to talk about it.

Its a shame they had the opportunity to diversify their content and then quickly abandoned it. Could have been a channel beyond a single MMO or game, but they seemingly threw their eggs into the WoW and general news basket.

I disagree with a few things, but here’s my thoughts. •The beginning section of Ala Mhigo was very fast actually, we didn’t get to see a lot of even the first zone out of 3 before moving on for context •Doma was definitely the slow pace slog that takes up what has to be 70% of msq •The story is more about lyse than anyone else including the WOL. Getting to be herself after living in her sisters shadow and failing, only to find herself by succeeding elsewhere then returning to successfully try again back at home is a short way to phrase it, but it’s what the story was about and I quite liked it. So less focus and less time on her is a definite no from me •the first primal didn’t feel like a detour as it was part of keeping the beast men occupied while the confederacy staged their revolt. The detour waste of time primal was definitely the ananta’s. •Ala Mhigo’s scale on the map is perfect, massive and impressive. Doma on the other hand is minuscule and disappointing, red ruby sea is confederate land. The steppe is for the Au Ra tribes, this leaves one village in Yanxia and a castle we end up flooding and destroying as Doma. It doesn’t matter what the lore says, that doma is massive beyond what we explore in the game. In itself this was didapointing and took me out of immersion more than once. It was as if they ran out of budget for locations in a movie. Which m baffles me as to why we spend more time in Yanxia than any of the latter 2 zones in Ala Mhigo despite Ala Mhigo being the appropriately huge areas •Zenos isn’t totally one dimensional, it would be bland and boring had he been another empire loving patriot or pathetic daddies boy. Theres a reason everyone loves him as a villain. Someone being so bored with the pampered royal life that they’ve went cold and can only feel when they have the adrenaline pumping through them from the thrill of battle is a lot more deep than Thordan, who was basically just a pussy who couldn’t tell the truth

Weird. Im a solo player and the first thing I did as a new lvl 80 was start running ops and veteran FP's. I haven't even been doing that for 2 weeks and my gear is all blue 340 and purple 344. 😂 You make it sound hard. Its actually really easy. Ive also never played GSF.

@Bellular Gaming - Why is your review limited to the GW2 core game and not to the expansion, which is much more breathtaking (new systems, mastery, mounts, elite specs)?

I am not very excited about the story, but they made it it so that it complements the world and the gameplay. The story can be an escape from grind burnout and the achivement system makes you replay most part of it, for gear.

I’ve always seen Zenos as a spoiled brat, a prattling child that just can’t seem to get it. What he can’t seem to get is that it’s not about him, and that the only reason my character has ever engaged with him is because we had too because he forced his way in, trying to make it about himself. He says it’s for living in those moments between seconds, that fighting us is the only thing that makes him feel, but he doesn’t realize that what he’s actually feeling is important, that HE is the big bad, and that HE is playing his part in some grand plan, that he has purpose. He has heaped so much importance onto my character, because he sees them as always front and center, the main character, but doesn’t realize that the WOL is someone who fell into all of this, is just some random person like anyone else, that is simply doing the best they can with what, and who they have, for the betterment of others because it’s the right thing to do, not because they ARE the “chosen one” and its their destiny, but because they are in the situation and have the ability to be that. Bottom line he is focused on something external, grandeur, destiny, some larger, all encompassing force that has pre ordained everything, and the WOL is internal, understanding things simply are, there is no greater purpose, and striving to do the best they can and that is their meaning, and purpose they have created.

The cutscenes from fitting the drill to the front of the newly named "excellsior" till the end of the pope turned super knight trial were incredible, arriving back, victorious, riding a dragon. Im playing on xbox (finally) and i finished 6.0 this morning, im so hooked now 😅

I think you mean too much good content locked behind a medicocre/okay story. I really dont understand the hype around MSQ even in expacs. To me, it feels like a slog 80% of the time.

Another thing to note. Core tyria can eventually feel kinda boring combat wise, once you learn how combat works, mobs in core world are easy. Second you get into HOT and beyond, it humbles you lol. NPCs are not only stronger but more intelligent.

Slowly GW2 will consume any love for warcraft he has leftx and he can leave that game for good. I know I did, took awhile, but GW2 is def better pvp pve open world mounts crafting combat

I was struck by the profoundness of the current Valenteone's quest. Going in there expecting something cute for a cute reward. Somehow 14 finds these spots of truth, and manages to deliver them with uniquely positive seriousness.

Gameplay just hits harder if facilitated by a good story. And vice versa FF14's story can only hit like it does because we are involved via engaging gameplay.

StormBlood is no where near a bad expansion. Its storytelling and presentation are better than ARR. it’s just when comparing it to the other expansions especially right after playing Heavensward. It definitely feels like the black sheep of the group. Still a fantastic expansion though

i will try gshade, am running a 6900xt so I have plenty of GPU power, I play City of heroes which is a even older game(no longer supported) when It comes to game engines, I always wonder on the older games 10+ years) how it would work if they switched to say Unreal engine 5. I have been playing games since 1977 and have seen a LOT of changes in the computer game . some good some bad(IMHO) ty for your video

I do think endwalkers pacing is perfect...you cant just have adrenalin rush after adrenalin rush... endwalker has some heavy hitting shit so the slow parts are neccessary to process them

For 10 years FFXIV has had the perfect gearing system, basically WoTLK's gearing system. Blizzard's constant obsession with reinventing the wheel so often blinds them to the things that already work. In every expansion of XIV we know what we're getting. We know how the currency will work, we know when the tiers will change, we know that every class will get a legendary weapon. Knowing that the gearing system remains constant allows us to sit back and enjoy everything else. Gear just happens as long as you play enough to earn it. The real excitement with gear comes from just how fuckin' BEAUTIFUL it looks. WoW has the best glamour system of any MMO and Blizz treat it as an afterthought.. It's obvious that FFXIV has capitalised on making glamour so integral to its foundations and succeeded; and XIV's glamour system blows chunks.

I loved when they covered ffxiv, too bad i guess it wasn't worth the resource investment for them in the long run.

It's so ironic that this "end-game centric" design was spawned from EQ players because despite the hardcore nature of EQ end game raiding EQ's entire game design was literally the opposite of WoW. The leveling was painfully slow and arduous. The penalties for dying were severe to the point that if you had just leveled and died you could lose your current level (including the ability to cast spells you just learned). Most players never even got to max level because it took so long. EQ was absolutely more about the journey than the destination. Guilds like FoH and LoS were the extreme minority. I honestly wish WoW had taken more of the other parts of EQ than what it did. It streamlined/removed some of the best/most interesting parts of EQ and elaborated on some of the most tedious parts. Don't get me wrong I loved raiding but I also loved the long arc of leveling and grouping with all the social elements, class interdependence and interesting class interactions. I think WoW is stale and lately I have been playing on a new EQ classic TLP server and the mechanics still hold up even if the graphics don't. The server is packed as well so I know I'm not the only one. I have a feeling classic MMOs are making a comeback and I think you can even see that with the rise of hardcore classic WoW. It's also ironic that WoW sought to streamline away much of the challenge and difficulty of EQ and look where they are now? An even more harsh death penalty than EQ ever had.

SWTOR is a good game if you wanna play a MMO like WOW or FF14 without having to pay a subscription. Maybe you are too busy with life or just wanna play other games and can't justify paying a sub because you know you cannot or simply don't wanna play it all the time and would be wasting money. SWTOR offers pretty much the same gameplay in a Star Wars setting and is perfect for someone who just wants to play casually.

I thought whaling was agreed to be banned. Japan still does it all too often but outside them, the rest of the world found that digging for black gold is more efficient than stabbing blubber.

I played FFXIV for several months. I had a great time. Can't possiblly imagine what has changed in the 10 years since. Hopefully it's not like PSO2 which to me is more of an inventory simulator than its predecessor now that it has ) _so much stuff to do_ but those things are not logically connected. It's weird and very Japanese.

I really miss this channel.. Can we please have a FFXIV channel or something. It's really kind of meh that FFXIV has been left on backburner.

I dearly miss this channel and the FFXIV content from the Bellular team.
